Extra Large Double Honey Filter Strainer

A double layer filter sieve 12.6 inches across, against 9.4 inches on the standard one. That is nearly twice the surface area, which is the difference between honey draining as fast as you pour it and honey backing up in the sieve while you wait.

Two mesh layers sit one inside the other. The coarse layer catches wax and bee parts, the fine layer takes what gets through. Use both for a single pass, or the coarse one alone when you are only getting honey off the extractor.
