A holder that hooks over the side of a hive body and takes frames while you work through the box, so frames rest on the hive rather than standing in the grass.
It matters for two reasons. A frame stood on the ground picks up dirt and the occasional ant, and a frame leaned against the box is a frame that falls over. It also keeps your hands free while you look through the box, and the bees on the comb rather than in the dirt.
