Crimpers for taking the last of the slack out of frame wire. String the wire, tension it by hand as far as it will go, then crimp between the holes to pull it tight.
A loose wire lets wax foundation bow in summer heat and then blow out in the extractor. The crimp is what stops that, and it costs about ten seconds a frame.
